Erosion and Sediment Change to Fees

The review fee for Sedimentation and Erosion Control Plans under jurisdiction of the Land Quality Section will increase to $65 per acre (from the current $50 per acre). As in the past, the fee is calculated by rounding the disturbed acreage up to the next whole acre and then multiplying this acreage figure by $65. For example:
4.08 acres = 5 acres x $65/per acre = $325.00 is the correct review fee.

A $65 non-refundable review processing fee for each acre of disturbed land or any part of an acre of disturbed land (including off-site borrow and waste areas). No processing fee will be charged for a revised plan unless the revised plan contains an increase in the number of acres to be disturbed.

The new fee schedule will pertain to any plans submitted on or after August 1, 2007. It is important that anyone submitting a Sedimentation and Erosion Control Plan include the correct review fee amount with their submittal. Failure to include the correct amount will delay review of the submittal until the appropriate fee is received.
